Pianist Thito Camargo leads a vibrant celebration showcasing a variety of Brazilian music including Samba, Choró, Bossa-Nova, Baião, and Maracatu. Thito’s arrangements seamlessly blend modernity with tradition, including renowned Brazilian composers like Antonio Carlos Jobim and Pixinguinha, plus Thito’s own compositions.
The Thito Camargo Trio features renowned pandeiro master Brian Potts, founder of batacuda group Miamibloco, and three-time National Young Arts Foundation winner, bassist Michael Ramos. "Best Brazilian Singer Living in the US” (Brazilian Press Awards) Beatriz Malnic joins them with her acclaimed interpretations of bossa novas and sambas.
