Affinitas Trio: Featuring violinist Gary Levinson, pianist Paul Posnak & cellist Wendy SutterThree renowned musicians of international stature in a unique program specially selected for our venue and audience. Featured works include Beethoven’s “Trio, Opus 11” displaying the young composer’s exuberance and melodic beauty; Ravel’s “Sonata for Violin and Cello,” perhaps the greatest work ever written for these two instruments; Joaquin Turina’s “Trio in B Minor” filled with the jota, bolero and flamenco that define Spanish musical culture; and works reflecting Lecuona’s Cuban soul.
Every note will be played with finesse, refinement and the contagious joy that is created only by the finest artists who truly love working with each other.
